How to Connect Windows PC to TV Using Wi-Fi
Connecting a Windows PC to TV can be done in many ways. The most common method is by using HDMI cable. However, with the sophisticated technology we have today, Wi-Fi becomes the preferred method to connect the PC to TV. There are numerous purposes why people connect their computers to TV. 1. Enable Wi-Fi Mode
The most important thing that you have to do is making sure that your TV is indeed has Wi-Fi mode. If your TV does not have any Wi-Fi mode or any options to connect it to the internet, it will be impossible to connect the TV to computer using Wi-Fi. Go to the TV setting or option page and enable the Wi-Fi mode.
2. Connect TV to the Wi-Fi Network
Once the Wi-Fi mode on the TV is enabled, connect the TV to the Wi-Fi network available. Remember to use the same Wi-Fi network that the computer uses. If the Wi-Fi connections are different, it won’t be possible to connect the TV to the computer using Wi-Fi.
3. Go to “Display Settings”
Now go to the computer and on the main screen, click right. There will be several options including “Display settings”. Click this option and find a drop options including “Duplicate this display” option, click it and then click “Apply”.
4. Go to “Devices” on Windows Settings
Now go to Windows Settings. The setting of the computer is the one with gear icon. You can find it on the main menu or on the control panel. After you find it, select “Devices” option. You will be redirected to some options including “Bluetooth & other devices”. Underneath that option, there is a box with plus sign labelled “Add Bluetooth or other device”, click the box.
5. Click “Add a Device”
Once clicked, there will be several options appear including “Wireless display or dock”. Select this option. If your TV and computer are both well-connected to Wi-Fi, and using the same Wi-Fi connection, the display on the computer will be automatically get duplicated to the TV. If it is not connected, try to restart the Wi-Fi connection.
